Kirath Ghundoo is a British-Indian multi-disciplinary designer and artist whose work explores color, pattern, surface and texture across the creative industries. Drawing on a multitude of influences that touch upon heritage, travel, the everyday, lifestyle, nature, fashion and iconic design era’s, her work is playful and aims to elicit a sense of joy. Representing a visual diary of the world around her, Kirath’s work encompasses a fusion of everything she loves.

In 2011, she introduced her first wallpaper collection, 'Mix 'n' Match 11', at 100% Design in London. Her iconic wallpapers defy traditional conventions, ripping up the rule book, encouraging clients to have fun by creating unique feature walls with mismatched pattern and color. In 2020, she launched a range of original abstract artworks exploring a hand rendered approach to her creativity landing a covergirl feature for Sunday Times Home. Having built a loyal client base her work can be seen across product, offices, retail, healthcare and residential spaces around the world.

Meet the Designer

Kirath Ghundoo is a UK based surface pattern designer and artist with a passion for bold color, pattern and print. With a love for interior spaces, she designs wallpapers, paints and draws original artworks. Kirath launched her first wallpaper collection, ‘Mix ‘n’ Match 11’ at 100% Design, London in 2011 and since then has become a favorite of the design and interiors press both in the UK and internationally, with Living etc labelling her as "the queen of pretty geometrics." Her original abstract paintings and drawings for residential and commercial spaces are playful, joyful and exuberant in style.
